VirtuaGirl
is a novelty. It promises "strippers on your desktop" and that's what they
deliver. It's a downloadable software program that makes strip teasing
girls show up along the bottom of your desktop. Basically they dance on
top of the Windows toolbar either in the bottom left or bottom right
corner of your screen. I haven't seen anything like this before and it's
certainly a unique program.
A free demo is available for download along with 18 free sample
animations. Of course this stuff is all a teaser to lead you into
purchasing a membership for $24.95/mo which buys you a complete selection
of 39 models each of whom have many downloadable animations/stripteases in
different outfits. Before getting deeper into the content, let me talk
about setting up the software. Trying to figure out how to get and use the
program wasn't as easy as it should be. Granted I didn't sign up through
the usual membership service so I can't speak to what their signup email
says, but their website is lacking a clear instruction and FAQ page to
guide non-members and members through downloading and setting up the
Virtua Girl program.
Things get better once the program is installed and running. I'll give
them credit for a well-written "How to Use" page is very helpful in
adjusting the settings, adding new animations, and organizing models. Even
though it took me several minutes to get a handle on what settings are
available I discovered they've got most of what's needed. You can adjust
how often the Virtua Girl shows up (from every 15 seconds to 60 minutes to
never), the girl's size, location (left, right, random), and type of
animations you see (teaser or full striptease). Once I got the handle on
these it became easy to set things up how I wanted.
The Virtua Girls are recognizable pornstars and adult models. In addition
to their downloadable animations each girl also has photo galleries and
videos. This content seems to serve as filler and is more generic softcore
porn that isn't overly exciting although it does seem to be good quality.
Some additional interesting content includes "making of" vids and pics
which show behind-the-scenes shooting of some Virtua shoots. These pics,
vids, and behind-the-scenes stuff makes for a relatively full and decent
amount of porn in the member's area however the fact remains that the
desktop strip software is the sole reason to join.
I personally found Virtua Girl intriguing for its originality although my
interest faded rather quickly. You may find it worth having on your
computer as a fun little gimmick although the price, which seems high to
me, might scare you off. |
